The inspiration for Scottish Family Ties is borne from the desire to create a historical, cultural and contemporary link for people of Scots descent at home and abroad.     We endeavour to produce traditional, high quality, hand made products, which add an element of distinction to any wardrobe.  To ‘do unto others as we would have others do to us’ i.e. customers, suppliers and co-workers.   Our products are solely designed and hand made in the UK. All tartans are exclusively created in Scotland. The fabrics we use have been woven by companies with generations of expertise. Hand and machine stitching are used where best suited to produce a garment that meets the highest expectations of quality.
